ContractType: Permanent

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary: NJC L5 point 15-20 (£25,878 -£28,371)

Training: Full training and support will beprovided

Overviewof the job

We are looking forsomeone to join us as a Facilities Supervisor at Daubeney Academy, todirectly support and assist the Facilities Manager in all areas of the maintenance, care and upkeep of the school's buildings, grounds and facilities. The role will require supporting Springfield Primary School, whose school site is next to Daubeney. The successful candidate will have the ability to carry out electrical, plumbing, carpentry and othergeneral repairs around the school site.

The role will include ensuring that the school site is maintained to ahigh standard at all times and the school is kept in a proper state of repair, including maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other general repairs around the school site), decorating and refurbishment.

If youfeel you have the right mix of good communicational skills, a general understandingof Health & Safety practices, competent in DIY, and can work as partof a team, then we would welcome an application from you. You need to have a flexible approach to working hours, high standardsand a positive attitude.
