Equine Groom Apprentice
Closing Date: Applications reviewed on receipt Millfield School is looking to recruit an apprentice to join our equine team. Millfield School has a large Equestrian Centre which has space for over 40 horses with both indoor and outdoor arenas. Your duties will include caring for our ten riding school horses plus our student livery horses. You will work 40 hours per week, which will include some weekend working and 8 hours for training. Applicants will need to be available to start from 6.45am. Applicants will work alongside experienced staff and should have a passion for working with horses, enjoy working with teenage children/young adults as part of the role, and being part of a small team. Desired qualifications Apprentice s that have not completed level 1 English and Maths will need to study towards English and Maths qualifications during their apprenticeship. They will be required take the test for level 2 English and maths prior to completion of their Apprenticeship. Things to consider Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
