There has been significant investment in expanding the team to ensure we're equipped to provide the very best service to all of our academies and National colleagues.
We're looking for an experienced, motivated HR Operations Lead (known internally as Case Management Lead) to bring our vision to life and cement the Case Management team as a high performing team within the People & Culture function. You'll be joining us at a pivotal time as our new HR structure and ways of working are rolled out nationally, providing a real opportunity to make a difference to all colleagues, and by extension students, in our academies.
Working closely with our friendly and welcoming People Services Desk and wider HR colleagues across England, you will be thoroughly supported by senior leaders to shape and develop your team. Our ideal candidate is ready to hit the ground running and is an expert in running a team in a HR Shared Service or a HR Operations service. We want a candidate to take this service to the next level, developing an engaged and dedicated team alongside delivering an exceptional service for our stakeholders.

You'll be responsible for: - Leading, mentoring and supporting the development of the People Services Case Management team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
- Overseeing the management of all people cases related to the full employee lifecycle, providing second line support for incoming queries
- Identifying and implementing improvements to People processes, delivering exceptional service, and streamlining approaches where possible
- Fostering strong working relationships with other People teams, such as the People Service Desk, HR colleagues in Academies and People Partners
You'll bring: - Proven experience managing an HR Operations or Shared Services team, ideally in the Education sector
- Dynamic and motivating leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team within a large, complex organisation
- Experience working across the whole employee lifecycle including: contractual changes, onboarding, immigration and sponsorship, and compliance and governance
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to foster effective working relationships
Attendance at our Waterloo office is mandatory 3 days per week. The team work on a rota to ensure a service is provided from 8am - 6pm Monday - Thursday and 8am - 4pm on a Friday.
