At ASL, Community Action and Service Learning contribute powerfully to our school's mission and in the education of our students. The Middle School Community Action Integrationist works across middle school teams and departments in Grades 5-8 to offer community action experiences, with an emphasis on curriculum-embedded service learning. Collaborating closely with MS admin, faculty, the K-12 Director of Community Action, the Director of Global Citizenship and the Office of Teaching & Learning, this position will continue to develop a shared understanding of the School’s community action framework in the Middle School and facilitate dynamic and engaging activities for all MS students. This position includes lead teacher responsibility for two middle school elective classes.
