We are looking for a Senior Trust Finance Officer to lead our accounts payable function across the Trust, ensuring payments and income are processed accurately, promptly and with strong financial control. Based within our Central Team, this is a key role in supporting academies and colleagues with a finance service that is reliable, responsive and focused on doing things properly. The post will suit someone with strong accounts payable experience, a sharp eye for detail and the confidence to improve processes, support others and uphold the high standards we set for stewardship of public funds, collaboration and service across Active Learning Trust.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Process payments and manage expenditure accurately and on time.
- Raise invoices, monitor income, and support cashflow.
- Maintain accounts payable records and reconciliations for reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Trust financial regulations and controls.
- Provide professional support to academies, central teams, and suppliers.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and efficiency.
