The successful candidate will lead and develop the teaching of Drama throughout Fettes College Preparatory School to ensure that every member of the school feels valued and confident in the Drama classroom and able to contribute to the extra-curricular ‘drama life’ of the school in some capacity.
The Head of Drama will teach timetabled drama lessons to the full age range. The Drama and Music departments work closely and lessons are often taught together. They will provide a supportive role in assisting pupils with exam preparation, and with public speaking roles within the school. The Head of Drama will also be responsible for holding one to one Speech and Drama lessons with pupils throughout the Prep School.
