We are seeking an exceptional Associate teacher (Specialist base) to play a pivotal role in launching our brand-new provision at Exmouth Community College from September 2026.
This is more than a job, it is a rare opportunity to help build a education program for children with EHCPs with Communication & Interaction and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
Our Specialist Base will support up to 20 students in a purposefully designed space, with a clear ambition: to develop independence, confidence, and belonging so that every learner can thrive in school and beyond.
This role extends beyond the base itself. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about sharing their expertise across the whole school community, supporting students with similar needs to those in the base, and helping to build inclusive practice at every level.
We see our Base model as more than a provision-it represents the beginning of a wider, locality-based approach to education. By offering high-quality specialist support within students' own communities, we aim to reduce the need for long-distance travel and ensure that more young people can thrive in a familiar, inclusive environment.
If you are able to meet the requirements of this role, we would love to hear from you.
