Salary: ALT Grade D £19,261.02 - £19,718.61 Annually (Actual)
We are looking to recruit four Teaching Assistants (Level 2) to join the team at Gusford Primary, working closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom and beyond. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you will help pupils, including those with additional needs, to overcome barriers, build confidence and engage fully in school life. You will contribute to planned learning activities, support behaviour and wellbeing, and play a key part in creating an inclusive, supportive environment where all children can achieve. We are seeking individuals who bring patience, adaptability and a genuine commitment to making a difference every day.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals and small groups in the classroom, including pupils with SEND or additional needs
- Deliver and adapt planned learning activities in partnership with the teacher
- Contribute to monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress
- Support behaviour, wellbeing and inclusion, helping pupils stay engaged in learning
- Assist with classroom preparation, resources and the wider organisation of learning activities
