1 Year Fixed-Term Contract

This a varied and vital post, working together with the School's Designated Safeguarding Lead, to lead and sustain a safe and child-centred culture across both St Paul's School and St Paul's Prep School. The successful applicant will work closely with the pastoral teams across both schools, guiding and supporting their safeguarding and welfare work; lead on whole-staff safeguarding training; and role-model and inform best practice in all areas of safeguarding. Direct experience of the independent education sector is not a pre-requisite, we encourage applications from practitioners with public sector and charitable backgrounds, and for this role specifically from those with experience in a child safeguarding role, for instance Children's Social Care or Nursing.
Hours: 35 hours per week, 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the post, flexibility in working hours will be required.
