At West Exe, we are brave, selfless, and work together for every child, every time. We believe in the importance of having an exceptional school culture in order to support our students to benefit from exceptional teaching and exceptional experiences.
Our pastoral and behavioural systems are designed to maximise the engagement of our all students in school, offering a range of intervention programmes to maximise student achievement.
We are looking to recruit a Pastoral Support Advisor to work closely with our Heads of Year and wider pastoral team, promoting good behaviour and dealing promptly with any conflicts or incidents by encouraging students to take responsibility for their own behaviour.
You will need to have some experience of responding to individual additional needs as well providing support to children on a 1:1 and small group basis. An understanding of principles of child development and learning processes, and in particular barriers to learning, is also essential. You will bring strong communication and team work skills to develop relationships with the students themselves but also our wider school community and our families.
If you are committed to being there for every student, every time, then we want to hear from you.
