About The Glasgow Academy
We are a diverse, forward‑looking school with an outstanding academic record and a rich co‑curricular programme. Our mission is to empower young people to find their voice, fulfil their potential, and make meaningful contributions to the world. About the Role
As Senior Fundraising Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of a bold fundraising strategy aligned to the Academy’s long‑term ambitions. You will drive philanthropic income across bursaries, capital projects, transformational initiatives, and unrestricted giving. You will also lead major gift fundraising campaigns, manage a portfolio of prospects, and ensure exceptional stewardship at every level.
You will be part of the External Relations directorate — an inter‑dependent team responsible for admissions, marketing, alumni relations, fundraising, and promoting the Academy’s achievements and aspirations. The role reports to the Director of External Relations and involves close collaboration with senior leaders, Governors, donors, and the wider Academy community.
