TEACHER OF 3D DESIGN
Permanent - Full-Time
Start Date: January 2027
Reporting to the Head of Design and Technology, the successful candidate will predominately teach 3D Design and therefore a background in 3D Design, Art and Design, or Design and Technology; Product Design is required for this role. A willingness to teach Food Preparation and Nutrition up to Year 9 is desirable (appropriate training will be provided if required) though not essential.
The Teacher of 3D Design will design and deliver lessons with a secure foundation in pedagogical best practice. They will be a creative team player and will keep abreast of developments within the discipline. They will be expected to teach across all key stages and ensure that our Teach to 25 philosophy is embedded within their teaching. The successful applicant will also contribute to 'University Stretch' sessions, departmental improvement projects and represent the department in whole school initiatives and events.
The Teacher of 3D Design will be required to be a form tutor and contribute to the extra-curricular life of the department and school.
Applications from ECTs and experienced teachers with QTS are encouraged. Applicants wishing to embark upon Initial Teacher Training to achieve QTS will be considered.
This is a permanent position, offered on a full-time basis.
The preferred start date is January 2027.
