We have an exciting role of Head of Quality & Intervention within our Quality, Teaching and Learning team!Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Lead the operational delivery and coordination of the College's quality cycle, including self-assessment, quality improvement planning and review processes.
- Monitor curriculum performance across key indicators including attendance, retention, achievement, high grades, progress and learner experience.
- Analyse performance data and quality intelligence to identify trends, emerging risks and areas requiring targeted intervention.
- Lead and coordinate improvement activity in underperforming curriculum areas, developing clear action plans, milestones and success measures.
- Support and challenge curriculum leaders to strengthen teaching, learning, assessment and learner outcomes across the College.
- Provide regular updates and analysis on performance, risks, intervention activity and impact to support quality reporting and inspection readiness.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications- Degree or equivalent professional qualification, with a recognised teaching qualification.
- Evidence of continued professional development in education leadership, management or quality improvement.
- Experience of improving teaching, learning and assessment in Further Education and securing stronger learner outcomes.
- Strong digital and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify root causes and use insight to inform improvement actions.
- Ability to influence, support and professionally challenge curriculum teams and leaders to drive sustained improvement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and accountability skills, including the ability to manage priorities and deliver measurable improvements within agreed timescales.
