About
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Education graduate, specialised in Special Educational Needs, with a strong passion for inclusive education. I am committed to supporting all children to achieve their full potential in a supportive and structured environment, and I bring experience teaching children with a range of learning needs across the primary curriculum.
I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education with a specialty in Special Educational Needs at the University of Málaga. Throughout my training and experience, I have developed a strong understanding of how to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and promote inclusion within the classroom.
Since the age of 14, I have been involved in voluntary work within an educational setting, supporting children aged approximately 5 to 12 years old. During this time, I worked with children with a range of additional needs, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, visual impairments and Down syndrome. This long-term experience has allowed me to develop patience, empathy and the ability to build positive relationships with children, supporting both their academic and personal development.
In addition, I have been working as a self-employed professional since 2019, which has strengthened my sense of responsibility, organisation and adaptability. Through this experience, I have developed strong communication skills and the ability to respond flexibly to different situations, skills that are essential when supporting children with SEND.
I am confident in my ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, adapting lessons to suit individual needs and ensuring that every child feels valued and motivated. I understand the importance of working cooperating closely with colleagues, families and other professionals to provide consistent and effective support for students.
Although I don’t currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, I meet the academic requirements and I am highly motivated to obtain it. I am eager to gain further experience within the UK education system and would fully commit to completing the necessary steps to achieve it.
As a native Spanish speaker with a strong level of English, I am confident in my ability to communicate effectively with children, families and colleagues and to support children from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
I am particularly excited about the opportunity to work in the UK and to be part of a school that values inclusion and high-quality education for all students. Teaching has always been my vocation, and I am deeply committed to helping children develop their skills, confidence and independence.
